Undertaking writing a blog like this requires a certain amount of courage.
That being said, this is only a "want to." I'm not trying to dictate any way of thinking or believing. I'm just trying to put out some sources and questions that if pondered and asked, could lead you to greater insight and faith.
In this pursuit, personal revelation is both critical and necessary. Pray. Study. Meditate. Do those things that open you up to communication with the divine. The Holy Ghost is always the best teacher. Take your thoughts, feelings, doubts, concerns to the Lord. And then seek the answers. I hope never to prescribe those for you. Only to help you learn how to ask the questions that propel increased understanding and growth on such a journey.
We are each so individual and different. Nature follows this same
pattern; there is nothing I see in all the creations of God that leads
me to believe he treasures "sameness." In fact, it would lead me to make
the opposite conclusion. We are each prized individually. Find out
what resonates with you, what strikes you as significant, and learn to
trust yourself. Your relationship with the Lord is yours and yours
alone. His will and mission for you are unique and will slowly be
illuminated as you make the long journey toward him.
That being said, if this is not your "cup of tea," leave it alone. This blog isn't about debating, arguing or proving anything. If that is what you find instructive, this isn't the venue you want.
If you have additional insights or information that you think would add to the scripture being addressed, please email them in. I am still a novice in many respects and I certainly make no claim to being comprehensive or omniscient.
In the end, if you are interested in hearing from a flawed mortal
who seeks greater light and knowledge, I welcome you.
